RPET is the short name used for recycled polyethylene tetraphyte (PET), which is weaved into a polyester fabric. Its yarn is extracted from waste plastic bottles and is used for a variety of bag styles including sports bags, satchels, luggage linings, school bags and fold up bags.
rPET packaging helps reduce the environmental impact of food packaging by: Significantly reducing energy and fossil fuel usage. Reprocessing of rPET is a far less resource-intensive process than manufacturing new PET resin.

Once PET products have been used, they can be recycled and revamped. This reprocessed PET is known as rPET, or recycled PET, and it can be transformed into a range of everyday products like reusable grocery bags, bedding, and even clothing.

Discover our rPET (or recycled PET) bags, made from the recovery and recycling of plastic bottles. In addition to having a resistant and durable bag, it is a real gesture for the environment.
The rPET (or recycled polyethylene terephthalate) is an eco-responsible process. It is derived from the recycling of plastic bottles. Thus, when you throw away a plastic bottle, it is recovered and recycled. By cooling, we recover a PET thread, which allows us to manufacture the fabric, specific to the elaboration of our rPET bags. In turn, these bags made of 100% recycled materials are also recyclable.
Note that in order to receive the rPET label, a recycled PET case must be made of at least 80% recycled materials.
The rPET bags have the advantage of being very resistant and able to support heavy loads. They are also waterproof, have a very good resistance to tearing and are durable. Their use is therefore perfectly eco-responsible and allows to give a second life to single-use plastic.
Note that it is possible to add a layer of BOPP (Bioriented Polypropylene) to add additional resistance to stress. Our rPET bags are qualitative, durable and 100% ecological, for an eco responsible packaging.
